Last weekend, a touring fun fair hit my town. I figured it would be a great chance of dressing up in something cute, girly and maybe a bit ''child-like''.  I added some edge to classic plait knit with a (vegan) leather skirt and red classes. Summer seems to be quite persistent this year, it was still way too hot to wear a knit to be honest.

I've been meaning to post this a whole lot earlier, but I've been crazy busy with work lately. I'm having two days off this upcoming weekend, such a luxury !

But here's the first bunch of photos from my recent trip to Venice!

My comfy travelling look! Boy London tank top, leather jacket , biker boots and all my crucial stuff like laptop showed into Lost Mannequin back bag got me through the 6 hour waiting time at Amsterdam.

From Amterdam, we flew to Venice and passed the Alps. We were lucky to have clear sky so we could see the mountains really well!

Waterbus was the greatest way to get around, it was quite expensive tho! 

We stayed at Hotel al Graspo de ua. It was really cozy, even though rooms were really small , had no elevator and our aircon overheated one night. The staff was really friendly! Oh, and it's super hard to find if you don't know where to look, it's in a super tiny alley with very few signs.

Breakfast at our favorite cafe, cafe Torino ! We ended up going there every day because of the delicious tuna sandwiches, mouthwatering cappucino and nice waiter.

15 again

 I've been having a ''blog silence'' for over a month now. Not even sorry. I've had lots of things on my mind, I've had summer vacation,  I've been abroad, got back to work and started working like crazy to get some money to my savings account ( I used all my savings in Italy and I feel anxious when I don't have anything ''in case of emergency''-money)  which elevated my stress levels to maximum... I haven't found any room for blogging in my life. It has been a refreshing ''blogging vacation'', but now I'm back in the action! I have few posts waiting for you guys, so keep alert!

I'm starting off with something that is basically my teenage years in a solid object.

Converse All Stars.

I don't know about you, but I used to wear nothing but them when I was 14 until I was about 16. I remember having a pair made out of pvc-ish material in white ( I got them from Venezuela and they were my dearest pair), and when I finally let them go, they were more like grayish. I remember sitting in school corridors with my friends at 8th. grade , doodling and writing to each others' kicks. Good old times. I remember when I really got into girlish style, I told someone I'm never wearing a pair of All Stars ever again. At least not old and stained ones.

Lately I've had a slightdesire for my old favorites. With thick sole. Then, one day when I was casually strolling around Venice I saw these at AW display. On sale. That's when I knew. I could not leave without them.

Aren't they wonderful? The thick soles make them stand out from the crowd of black Converse shoes ( while giving a midget like me much wanted extra centimeters). Whenever I'm wearing these I feel like a 15 year-old again (in a good way though, not in the ''I want to dye my hair with all the color of rainbow and wear nothing but hoodies all year''- kinda way)! I'm not going to draw on these though.

I've been waiting for a chance to wear this formal- ish dress, and last weekend I stopped by at my stepbrother's confirmation party looking like this! There's a funny story behind this certain dress; I ordered Unif dress from Karmaloop and waited for a small eternity to get it because the delivery company lost it somewhere between customs and my apartment, even though they did try to deliver it once. When after 4 phone calls and several days of waiting I finally received the package, I found this Reverse dress. Sorry some Emily from Canada, this was supposed to be yours! Karmaloop was nice enough to offer me full refund and I got to keep this, since they had already ran out of my size of the dress I originally wanted. I consider myself lucky, I could have gotten a horrible rag but instead I ended with this beauty, practically for free!
