Summer nights

Hi guys!

Last weekend was probably the greatest one of the summer so far. I celebrated midsummer for the whole weekend and I can't remember when was the last time I was so happy! I usually work all the weekends and I have my days off when others are working, so I haven't had time to meet my friends much. The fact that I got to spend whole weekend with awesome people felt amazing ;_;

Funny fact; I was supposed to be at work on midsummer weekend too, but I broke my toe and got sick leave. Feels weird to say this but... thank you massive chopping board for accidentally dropping on my toe! All the pain was seriously worth this.

First I visited my friend Sara's hawaii-themed midsummer party! I wasn't really hawaii-themed so I got a flower to my hair. The weather was super hot so the flower died within an hour or so.

I couldn't stay for very long, but we managed to catch up and take some photos. Most of them got photobombed like this lol. There were almost 20 of us but we never got in to one picture.

When everybody at Sara's got into hardcore drinking mode, I left to Nemo's place.

Rest of the night, condensed;

Lots of booze in different forms, blurry photos and lots of laughter. Drunk Twister is a great game.

Next day after surviving the worst lagging, I was already on my way home when I got invited to the round two of Sara's midsummer party.  

Wolfman- drinking game, low-quality jokes and singing on the balcony around 3 am.

Next day we watched movies under our blankets from the moment everybody was up until 7 pm.  All in all a great weekend!

Summer saviors by Dior

Hello again!

I do make up and cosmetics reviews quite rarely since I tend to stick with the same products for really long time. Why fix something that's not broken, right? Lately I've been quite unhappy with my powder,  my new summer job involves lots and lots of heat and steam and after hard day at work, my face was so shiny you'd mistake it for sun. Applying more powder made my make up look like a mask of crap on my face. Same problem appears on hot summer days etc. etc.

While I was strolling around the aisles at Stockmann, wondering what to buy just so I could flash my new personnel discount card, I found the solution to my problem.

It's super light weight, almost sheer powder that controls shine perfectly! It doesn't build up and leave your face looking all cakey so you can apply it through out the day. Perfect summer product,  when your face starts to melt off you can just pat this on to your face and ta-dah, looking fresh again! On a downside, the SPF is only 8 and if you're looking for coverage, this might not be your product.

I've been super happy with the product, even though it's bit on pricy ( something like 50 e)  it's worth every penny. All my Dior products have lasted over a year even when I've been using them on a daily basis so in a long run it's not that expensive (trying to justify careless spending to myself here, lol)

Awesome sales woman gave a sample bottle of Dior Hydra life pro-youth sorbet creme also, I've been using it as a night and day cream for a week and still there's a lot left! Mad in love with this also, within a week I've noticed that my skin feels softer, smoother and somehow firmer. Light weight cream absorbs almost immediately and leaves face looking matte. Suits best for mixed skin! Gonna get more of this when I run out of my sample *---*  Photo from google, sample bottle is very plain looking and therefore not very photogenic.

Time to celebrate

Hellooo from newly graduated ex-high school student! Yesterday I had my long awaited graduation party. I still can't believe it's all over! No more high school ever again. Wow

Before the party I had my graduation photos taken by Jere Turunen.  I'm amazed I already got the pictures, so fast! Some editing made by me though.

I found a traffic sign and since I can't take anything seriously, I fooled around with it a little.

Must say that the photos turned out pretty good! I always fail in more official but these were pretty nice. Thank you for the awesome photographer.

 Make up close up. Changed my old upper lashes to Diamond lash glamorous eye and lower lashes to Dolly wink real nude because I was bored with my old lashes.

 FINALLY GOT BLUE ROSES. 

I've been wanting them forever, now my life is complete.

Overall I had exciting, yet very tiring day. I woke up at 6 am. and went to sleep around 5 am. Now I have sore throat and horrible cough. But you only graduate from high school once, you gotta make the best out of it!
